On-site labs & services

Novant Health Wallburg Family Medicine is proud to have a laboratory certified under the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA). Our patients benefit by not having to travel to another location or make a separate appointment to have lab tests completed. This also means your provider will get test results quickly so you can begin treatment quickly.

Lab tests completed in our office include:

• Complete blood count.
• Urinalysis.
• Rapid strep test.
• Influenza test.
• Blood or urine pregnancy test.

Tests & procedures

Our practice also features a variety of specialized tests and procedures to assist in the prevention, early detection and treatment of disease. To complement our primary care services, we offer a range of diagnostic tests, therapeutic and monitoring technology and treatments including:

• Cardiac event monitors.
• Audiograms.
• Electrocardiograms (EKGs).
• Pulmonary function testing.
• Mirena placement.
• Osteoporosis infusions.

Please note: You will receive bills for some of these lab service, tests and procedures separate from the bill for your office visit.
